How Tammy stopped trying to MAKE things happen, and just LET them.
Hey Mama-bear,
Today I’m interviewing a Fertility Mind-Body Mastery alumni and I can’t wait to get her story out in the world!
Tammy’s journey is fascinating. While being in my program Fertility Mind-Body Mastery, she experienced both tragedy and miracles. And we were with her through all the ups and downs and twists and turns that she went on.
She’s been kind enough to share her vulnerable story with us in today’s Fertile Ground podcast.
In her time in the program, she went through 2 failed IVF cycles that yielded many eggs but no embryos.
She experienced tremendous loss in her fertility journey, and also lost her step-son to a hit and run drunk driver. So incredibly sad.
Although she is still grieving today, she is doing it in a way that allows for herself to feel how she feels, without judgment and without shame.
She eventually…after everything she had been through and after being told her next step would be donor eggs… she went on to get pregnant naturally. At almost 40 years old.
Her journey makes no logical sense. Which is beautiful and confusing to our analytical mind.
But it is packed with the fullness of life and compassion for her humanity, as she shed the layers of perfectionism and started to embrace her real, authentic, sometimes anxious, imperfect self.
You’re gonna learn:
What happens when you stop trying to do it all.
The difference between intrinsic worth versus. achievement-based worth.
What it means to expand your capacity for uncertainty.
How she makes sense of her journey.
