3 things you can learn from Beyonce's pregnancy news
I assume that by this point you, your dog and your 102-year-old grandma have learned the Queen B is prego with twins. This girl has got it going ON! She just doesn’t quit.
When I saw the news from the 16 shared photos posted on my Insta feed, I couldn’t help but wonder, how does she do it? Or maybe a better question to ask…is she human? Kidding. Of course she is. (I think)
One things for sure - she believes in herself. And on your fertility journey, learning how to believe in yourself (and your body) can without a doubt, be the secret ingredient in your baby-making recipe. So I decided to investigate...
How can one person manifest copious amounts of success in almost every area of her life and what can you learn from her?
Mindset.
I know - she has some serious help to make her empire go round, but girrrllll - she didn’t start there. She candidly talks about how she's had to work for her success and it didn’t come from wishing and hoping. She developed a mindset that nurtured her vision for both her family and her empire.
Here’s 3 things you can do to channel your inner B:
1. Always take the risk. B says, “I can never be safe; I always try and go against the grain. As soon as I accomplish one thing, I just set a higher goal. That’s how I’ve gotten to where I am.” Begin to do things outside of your comfort zone and get used to the feeling of growing and stretching. I know you want to stay in your comfy, cozy bubble (I do too!) but once you branch out – you realize it’s not that bad! Plus, this kind of courage breeds confidence and confidence = belief in yourself.
2. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. “When I’m not feeling my best I ask myself, ‘What are you gonna do about it?’ I use the negativity to fuel the transformation into a better me.” Life is full of ups and downs, that - believe it or not - will continue when your baby plans to make its grand entrance. And although it’s important to allow yourself to feel sad or angry, it’s not where you want to spend most of your time. Make inner peace your #1 priority and choose to use negative situations as a catalyst to fuel change. Because you have control over your peace.
3. Take the power for yourself. “Power’s not given to you. You have to take it.” So what IS power? To me, power is loving yourself unconditionally. Power is showering yourself with compassion when vulnerable fears like, “I’m scared to love something as much as my baby.” rise up. You're allowed to feel and experience whatever you want, without judgment. Hold yourself in this kind of love and compassion and there will be no limits.
In your fertility journey, you have a choice. You can choose to believe it’s happening to you, or you can believe that it’s happening for you. Allow this journey to sculpt the grace, confidence and boot-ay that Beyonce so easily flaunts.
Now go get it girl!
