What You REALLY Need to do Before Getting Pregnant
I’m going to assume that nowadays, about 84% of the population googles “what do before getting pregnant” (Here’s to hoping). After browsing through the first top five pages on the search engines, most understand to take your folic acid, figure out when you ovulate, visit your doctor, stop binge drinking etc. Most people are aware of the obvious and there are lots of folks who get pregnant from doing the above (and even not doing it).
But let me ask you something. What do you think would be the difference in our world, specifically ourselves and our children’s lives, if we used bringing a human being into this world as a catalyst to become the healthiest and happiest we’ve ever been BEFORE getting pregnant? Not just when we find out we’re pregnant and only for 9 months until we pop that beautiful thing out.
You may be thinking, “It’s not necessary to go to that extreme because everyone I know who got pregnant and had a healthy baby didn’t do any of that.” And I’ve gone back and forth with that thought myself. But the guilt I feel when I drink alcohol and eat junk, tells me I’m being asked to step up. And I’m going to listen to that feeling.
Most need an incentive to finally get wonderfully healthy so why not use your beautiful baby as one? It is the perfect time to do what you’ve been wanting to do for years.
Over the next little while, I’ll document what changes I’m making to balance my body, mind & spirit in favor of:
a.) Designing ideal room & board for my baby (body)
b.) Creating a clear & happy mindset (mind)
c.) Tuning into my Personal Guidance System (spirit)
